Blank expenses entries after successful scans in app

In 3 out of the last 10 scans, when I use the mobile app (on Android) to capture a receipt, it appears to capture correctly, I hit done, and it starts extracting. When I check the app a few minutes later, the image is gone and there’s either a completely blank expense entry, or just a subtotal and no image.
