As a UK resident with my purchases all made at UK stores, the dates on receipts are in the DDMMYYYY format. However, the app reads the dates primarily in the MMDDYYYY format. For the first 12 days of every month I have to manually change the date, after this period the system seems to recognise the alternative format and applies it correctly.
I believe an option to force a date format would be beneficial, or one that detects the country of purchase and applies the correct format.
