European dates and currency

Feature Request

The app should detect date and currency format given the location, this is often in the vendor address. I travel between the UK and Europe, so use GBP and EUR.

Date format in both locations on receipts is DD MM YYYY.

      Can you please contact us at sparkreceipt@valorbyte.com so I can check the date format priority settings for your account. This seems like an invalid date priority issue (US-type format prioritized over European one). The dd.mm.yyyy date format is otherwise very well supported.

    This is now handled correctly in both the web and mobile apps. Date format priority is based on user’s locale setting if the date is ambiguous.

    Thanks for the feedback. The AI should be able to deduce the currency based on many factors, usually with the presence of "GBP" or "£" but possibly using other information in the receipt too, like ".co.uk" web address.

    The date issue is something that is already planned. Currently there might be problems detecting the difference between DD/MM/YYYY and MM/DD/YYYY if the date of month is less than 13. European dates in the format D.M.YYYY should be fine already, at least in our test receipts.
