OCR uploaded PDF's when they only contain the image of a receipt and not text

For the app to OCR uploaded image pdf's instead of using the camera.

If you upload a PDF that only contains an image of a receipt - if will not be scanned. This is the case with output of many mobile scanner apps. If the PDF has "normal" text, then it is scanned. This needs to be detected somehow in the app, and the page sent to image OCR instead of a PDF reader.

    Mobile apps now support this (Android relesed, iOS in 1-2 days)

    Thank you, I guess I finally got what you meant. Indeed, if you upload a PDF that only contains an image of a receipt - if will not be scanned.     Thank you for your quick response. The 2 pdf's I uploaded from my computer did not OCR. Maybe I am doing something wrong. If I keep having issues I will contact. Again, thank you.

    Hi VictorSystems, thanks for your feedback! Both the web and mobile apps accept PDF receipts and documents and they are scanned with the AI. Could you please elaborate a bit more? :) Or send any problematic files to sparkreceipt@valorbyte.com and we'll take a look.
