ReScan of receipts for new features
It would be helpful to be able to rescan a receipt.
For example currently the credit card only gets assigned if its setup. If I find that out later it would be helpful to rescan those receipts.
Or you are planning on extracting line items. Once that feature is available I might want to rerun the extract process (https://sparkreceipt.featurebase.app/p/breakdown-the-receipt-into-individual-items)
And I do understand that it might incur potentially more AI cost if many users use the feature. So not sure how to handle that but it would be very helpful

A rescan button will be available in the next mobile app release (available any time now, but tomorrow at the latest). We’ll add it to the web client as well as soon as possible.

I agree, a “ReScan” or “ReProcess” would be a great feature for those multipage receipts. Although if we have multiple images for a receipt, it might make sense to have the ability to choose a primary image.

In the rescan option, I would also like to be able to designate area to split receipt : sometimes, my PDF scan has several receipt on one page, and currently only one receipt is catched.

And what might help is to track if a field was set automatically or manually and then during a refresh to only update the automatics generated fields with updated information
The auto/manual tracking would also help with this feature

Here another example of rescan “Extracting Location”. Once that feature is released I’d love to rescan all my receipts
